The Wedding
After what felt like an eternity away from wedding planning, it was nice to be eased back in at a beautiful Hampshire venue I know all too well! Froyle Park is a truly special venue, attracting clients from across the UK to celebrate in the School-turned-Wedding Venue. Froyle Park is considered to be a dry hire venue, which means we had unlimited creative boundaries.
Fiona Curry and her fantastic and talented team created the most beautiful centrepieces, bouquets and buttonholes as well as extra displays for the ceremony. The ceremony, led by the powerhouse that is Jenny Knight (www.) was one of the best I have ever seen. Jenny took her time to know all about Nic and Rav’s story, and created the most beautiful, witty and charming ceremony which was enjoyed by guests at the venue, as well as several countries across the globe (thanks to videographers). Capturing the day was the lovely Lemon Photography.
I often work with Kudos Production who provide some of the funnest DJ's in the industry. The night started off with spinning lights, great party music and a surprise saxophonist who interrupted the first dance. The tone was set, and when a surprise performance from a guest and friend MC someone. At this stage, I think it's worth giving Alex from Crimson Bars a special shout out. When the groom sent a message to thank him at the end of the evening and promised to recommend him to all of this friends, Alex simply insisted, "please don't". Shots, shots and more shots encouraged partying late into the night. It truly was the best party to get us all back to ‘normal’.

2021 was probably the wobbliest year for weddings, but this happy couple didn't let a global pandemic get them down! Just three weeks after the nation was released from lockdown, Nic and Rav led the way to the dance floor without looking back...
Something I think we have all had to get used to is online meetings. It felt totally foreign to be meeting a client for the first time via video call, but after 1 hour of nattering away, Nic and I could have been friends for yonks! We chatted about their vision for the day, and I shared my limitless knowledge on their venue.
Nic and Rav booked my services back in Autumn 2020, and we worried on a few occasions we would need to move the wedding date. We were so lucky that the event restrictions were lifted and we could create a truly beautiful wedding.
